What do we eat – Spanish Typical Gastronomy

Today we’ll talk about the most famous plates in Spain and we’ll tell you where you should eat them to make the experience of tasting the gastronomy from each place of Spain. So, take a break from your Spanish lessons and taste Spain!
Paella – Valencia
It’s a recipe based on rice, although is famous worldwide its origins are in the Valencian Community.
Cocido madrileño – Madrid
A cocido is a stew is a stew made in a pot with water, in which meat, sausages, vegetables, potatoes or carrots, legumes and others are cooked together, sometimes adding some fried elements at the time of serving.
Fabada – Asturias
It’s the traditional dish of Asturian cuisine made with Asturian legumes, sausages such as chorizo ​​and sausages from Asturias, and pork.
Arroz con leche – Everywhere
The rice with milk is a typical dessert of the gastronomy of the small countries made rice with milk and sugar. It is served cold or hot. It’s usually sprinkled with cinnamon, vanilla or lemon zest to aromatize it.
Salmorejo / Gazpacho – Andalusia

Migas – Castilla la Mancha, León and Andalusia
Elaborated mainly with pieces of toasted breadcrumb accompanied by meats and chopped vegetables.
Pisto – Castilla la Mancha
It consists of a pan-fried of diverse vegetables (those in-season in an orchard) with tomato sauce (some people also add fried eggs).
Ensaimada – Balearic Islands
It’s a flattened baking product in the form of a spiral that is baked and sprinkled with icing sugar; can be filled with different ingredients, often spaghetti squash.
