An au pair is a foreign student, age between 18 and 30 years old, who wants to improve his/her Spanish level and is interested in discovering the culture of our country. In return, the au pair contributes sharing his/her knowledge about his/her mother tongue. You will be part of a Spanish family, sharing meals and taking part in their daily activities. You will have your private room, full board and also a weekly remuneration. During your free time you can join our Spanish classes and enjoying while discovering Madrid.

Description
The Au Pair & Study program includes:
- Private room with wardrobe
- Schedule between 20 and 40 weekly hours. Free weekends.
- Remuneration from 60 to 90 euros per week
- Support during your stay
- Extensive Spanish course (3 days per week)
- Learning materials
- Free cultural and social activities program
- Free library service
- Attendance certificate
Requirements for Au Pair & Study program:
- Have a EU passport or a visa that allows you to stay in Spain.
- It is advisable that you enjoy working with children and the family life. Having communication skills is important, in addition to the experience in child care, such as having worked as a monitor in campsites, schools, etc., will be highly valued (it is required a recommendation letter to accredit your experience).
- Each between 18 and 30 years old.
- Being single without descendants.
- Native English speaker or have an advanced level of English. Speaking other languages will be considerated an advantage.
- Having a good state of health. It will be necessary to present a medical certificate, including vaccinations if necessary. The medical certificate must be sent at least 3 months before arriving to Spain.
- Medical insurance, through the European Health Card (for European citizens) or through private medical insurance (required for non-European citizens). Our insurance company recommendation.
- Not having a criminal record, providing a certificate.
- Be interested in learning Spanish and Spanish culture.
- Regularly attend homework assignments, contributing as a member of the family. This does not mean that homework will be done as an obligation of the program, but as a contribution as a normal member of the family.
- Taking care of the travel and personal expenses.

*Each class has a duration of 50 minutes.
All courses are subject to an enrollment fee that will be required only once, the first that the student enrolls in our school, except for online classes wich do not require any kind of enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is providing all the materials and textbook for the course. For this course the fee is 50 euros.
