Hello Spaneasiers! How are your Spanish classes going? Are you enjoying your time in our schoool? We hope that our teachers are teaching you all the elements of our language so you can achieve the level you are looking for. On today’s post, we want you to relax from your classes and work, and enjoy the city of Madrid in a different way.
At Spaneasy we know that you love to watch series and movies from time to time, and as in previous posts we showed you, there are many very famous Spanish series on platforms such as Netflix. For this reason, we have found a small tour of Madrid where you can find some locations of your favorite Spanish series. This tour is called “Un Madrid fuera de serie” (in English, a phenomenal Madrid) and to do it, you only need to have the map to visit the different places that you can find in the tourist information points of Madrid or here.
If you are a fan of La Casa de Papel, it is likely that you want to take a photo next to the mythical Factory of the Currency and Stamp, but we are sorry to say that the show wasn’t made in the real place, but you can visit the headquarters of the CSIC that has a very similar facade. Nobody will notice!
On the other hand, with the new season of Elite, who does not want to belong to Las Encinas High School or go to one of its parties? If you want to take photos and find love like some of the characters did, you have to visit the Los Arroyos Reservoir in El Escorial. On the other hand, when it is safe to go back to the clubs, you have to visit the Barceló Theater. Did we leave any mythical location in the series?
If you are a comedy lover, Paquita Salas cannot be missing among your favorite series. Like the protagonist, you cannot miss the churros in the morning, that’s why this map shows you the churros from the series so you can have a chocolate with churros. On the other hand, after a tiring day at the agency and a drink with torreznos, why don’t you finish the day at the karaoke and bar Sácame por Dios? Maybe you will find Macarena and Paquita singing!
