2.1. Classes are contracted directly with Spaneasy Learning. The academy does not guarantee specific classrooms, timetables or teachers. Also, it reserves the right to make the programme changes that it considers necessary.
2.2. All bookings made online, by phone or email are subject to confirmation.
2.3. All the classes are of 50 minutes duration, except one to one classes which last 1 hour.
2.4. Intensive courses have morning and afternoon schedules. Timetable preference should be communicated to our student care team when booking but it can be guaranteed depeding on our availability.
2.5. If the case arises that a student’s level of Spanish is unsuitable for the course that has booked, Spaneasy Learning reserves the right to move the student to a more suitable level.
2.6. Travel costs, food and drink, examination fees and entrances (museums, shows, performances…) are not included in the programme price.
2.7. During the high season, Spaneasy Learning may offer the classes outside the school.
2.8. In the exceptional case that only 1 or 2 students are enrolled in a course in the same level group, the academy reserves the right to turn into a Private or Semi-private program. In this case, the programme will be reduced by 50%.
2.9. A personalised certifícate will be issued containing the name of the course, course level, number of hours and number of weeks completed as long as the student has atended at least 80% of the classes.
Spaneasy permanecerá cerrado durante los días festivos en Madrid. No se realizan reembolso por los días perdidos. Sin embargo, se realizará un 15% de descuento en cada uno de los días festivos. Spaneasy will be closed during the official public holidays. The school is not obliged to refund any classes missed due to National or Local holidays. However, 15% discount will be applied for each day missed due public holidays. One to one classes will be held on other days. For more information about dates, please read the list below:
4.1. As a general rule, accommodation is booked from the day before the course starts to the day after the course ends, normally from Sunday to Saturday. However, extra nights can be booked subject to availability and extra cost.
4.2. Book an accommodation requires the 40% upfront payment of the full amount when booking. The balance will be paid when the student arrives at school on the first day or by transfer/paypal. For more facilities, the full amount can be also paid in advance when the student book the course.
4.3. Check-in is arranged between 12am and 11pm. Please, consult our student care team if your arrival time is after that time. Check-in outside of this timetable may be subject to a supplement.
4.4. Check-out is at 11am. Is possible to arrange a late checkout subject to an extra cost. Please, consult.
4.5. A security deposit is required for stays in: shared flats, private flats and student residences. The security deposit must be paid on the first day of class by debit/credit card. It will be refunded to the student’s debit/credit car within 7 days after departure, once the room has been checked. Part or all the security deposit can be retained if: The bedroom is not clean. The student has caused on several occasions a noise disturbance. The keys are not returned to the accommodation. The student has caused damage to the installations or furniture.
4.6. The student will be responsible remplacing the broken items. If there is damage but no one si responsible, the cost of the repairs will be shared among all the students living in the same accommodation.
4.7. Spaneasy Learning reserves the right to change student’s accommodations at any moment.
4.8. During the high season, the accommodations can be substituted by other type of accommodation with similar price.
4.9. In case of bad behavior or disciplinary offence on several occasions, the student will be expelled from the accommodation without the right any refund.
4.10. The student mus’t accept the rules agreed with the accommodation/landlord.
4.11. If the student wants a change of accommodation, there is an extra cost of 30 euros and always subject to availability.
5.1. En el momento de reservar el curso, se requiere un pago adelantado del 40% para garantizar la plaza en Spaneasy. La parte restante puede ser pagada de igual manera al reservar la plaza. También puede hacerse posteriormente a través de transferencia, tarjeta de débito/crédito, Paypal o en efectivo el primer día antes del comienzo de las clases.
5.2. El saldo restante deberá ser pagado como límite el primer día de inicio de curso, de lo contario, Spaneasy Learning puede cancelar todo el programa del estudiante y éste no tendrá derecho a devolución del depósito o reembolso.
5.3. Es indispensable indicar claramente el nombre completo del estudiante en todas las transacciones bancarias.
5.4. Por seguridad no se aceptan cheques, giros ni envío de dinero en efectivo por correo postal.
5.5. El pago realizado en la escuela se acepta únicamente en euros.
5.6. Los gastos bancarios correrán a cuenta del estudiante, en el caso de que se nos cobrara algún tipo de comisión al recibir tu pago, Spanesasy Learning se reserva el derecho a cobrarte la suma correspondiente.
5.7. Un pago recibido sin la previsa confirmación por correo electrónico de la escuela inscribiendo al alumno será inválido.
5.8. En el caso de que el estudiante necesite una confirmación o carta de invitación de la escuela para la solicitud de becas/ayudas económicas de gobierno, universidades, instituciones, etc; deberá realizar el pago anticipado del importe total del curso.
5.9. En caso del pago a través del Paypal, Spaneasy Learning se reserva al derecho de cobrar un suplemento del 4% en concepto de comisiones administrativas.
5.1. When booking, an upfront payment of 40% total amount mus’t be paid as deposit to book your place in Spaneasy. The balance could be paid also when the student book the course, or withing the next days by transfer, debit/credit card, Paypal or the first day of class.
5.2. The balance has to be paid the first day of school at the latest. Without the full payment Spaneasy Learning can cancel the course, and the student has no right to a refund.
5.3. Student’s full name mus’t be stated on all bank transactions.
5.4. For security, personal cheques and cash by postcard are not accepted.
5.5. The payment at the school is only admitted in euros.
5.6. Fees and bank comissions have to be paid by the student. If the school receives any charge, fees or comission about student payment, Spaneasy Learning reserves the right to charge the student the concerned fees/comissions.
5.7. Any payments sent without a previous confirmation of enrolment by email will not be valid.
5.8. If student needs course confirmation or enrolment confirmation letter in order to obtain benefits/financial helps from governments, universities, institutions… The total programme amount has to be paid as upfront payment.
5.9. All Paypal transactions has a 4% commission surchage.
6.1. Students from Western Europe don’t need a Visa to enter and study in Spain. Student from other countries have to enquire at the Spanish embassies or consulates in their country prior to book a course.
6.2. The enrollment confirmation letter will be only issued by the academy upon receipt of full amount of the course and accommodation.
6.3. Spaneasy Learning can not be made responsible if the Visa process is rejected.
6.4. Once the academy received the full payment, the invitation letter will be sent to the student by email or post. If the student want to have the confirmation letter sent by courier, the student have top ay for the extra cost in advance.
6.5. Refunds can not be issued to students who have requested and been issued with enrollment confirmation letters wich could be used for other purposes as visa or visa renewal except in the case of Visa or NIE denial. In that cases, all the amounts paid will be refunded except a 250€ administration fees.
The refund will be made upon presentation of an oficial rejection letter from the Consulate that clearly states: Student’s name, Passport number and the type of Visa requested (appropriately dated, signed and stamped). There is no possibility to refund if the course has already taken.
6.6. The student is always responsible for the Visa application process.
7.1. Las cancelaciones se aceptarán única y exclusivamente antes de la fecha de llegada si son notificadas por escrito (correo electrónico). Las cancelaciones hechas por teléfono no se consideran válidas.
7.2. Si la cancelación se comunica con más de dos semanas de antelación a la fecha de llegada, se devolverá el importe íntegro pagado excepto el depósito requerido de reserva de plaza.
7.3. Si de lo contrario, la cancelación se comunica con menos de dos semanas de antelación a la fecha de llegada, se retendrá la totalidad del pago hecho por adelantado.
7.4. En ninguno de los casos el dinero del curso será reembolsado una vez que éste haya iniciado.
7.5. Por seguridad, los reembolsos sólo se harán a la persona que reservó el curso.
7.6. Para estudiantes que necesiten visado y que todavía posean de él, las cancelaciones serán consideradas una vez que los estudiantes prueben que han abandonado el país y una vez que el visado obtenido deje de ser válido. Adelmás, la cancelación sólo será valida a la vuelta del estudiante a su país de origen.
7.1. If the student want to cancel the programme, the cancellations will only be accepted prior to arrival by email.
All cancellations made by phone will not be valid.
7.2. If the cancellation is communicated more than 2 weeks before arrival (15 days and more) , the total amount paid will be refunded except the upfront payment that will be retained.
7.3. If the cancellation is communicated in the last two weeks before arrival (14 days and less) the total amount paid will be retained.
7.4. In non on the cases the money will be refunded once the course has started.
7.5. For security, refunds can only be made to the person who booked the course.
7.6. For students who need Visa or already have visa, cancellations will only be considered once the student proof they left the country and the visa is not longer valid. Also, The cancellation will only be valido n the student’s return to their country.
8.REDUCCIONES Y CANCELACIONES DE ALOJAMIENTO
8.1. Con respecto a las cancelaciones antes de la llegada, el período de aviso será de 1 mes antes de la fecha de llegada, si el aviso se realiza dentro de los últimos 30 días antes de llegada, cualquier pago por adelantado no será reembolsable.
8.2. En el caso de querer cancelar el alojamiento después de la llegada, se requiere un preaviso de un mes.
8.3. En el caso de que el estudiante decida posponer o interrumpir el alojamiento, la cancelación no será válida.
8 ACCOMMODATION REDUCTIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
8.1. Regarding cancellations prior to arrival, the notice period is 1 month. For cancellations communicated with less time notice, the total amount paid will be retained.
8.2. In case of cancellations after arrival, there is a one month’s notice required.
8.3. In case of a student decides to stop for any accommodation programme, the cancellation will not be valid.
9.1. Los descuentos no son acumulables.
9.2. Solo se aplicarán descuentos si son comunicados a Spaneasy Learning antes de la inscripción.
9.1. Discounts can not be accumulated.
9.2. Discounts and promotions are only applicable when communicated to Spaneasy Learning prior to book.
Se penalizarán con 75€ por gastos administrativos referente a cambios en reservas de cursos ya confirmadas que se encuentren en los últimos 15 días antes de la llegada o después de la llegada.
In case of changes to student’s confirmed course reservation communicated in the last 15 days prior to arrival or after arrival, 75€ will be charged for administrative costs.
11.1. El proceso de devolución se hará en un plazo de 30 días.
11.2. Para todos los reembolsos se realizará una tasa adminsitrativa del 10% de la cantidad reembolsada.
11.3. Los reembolsos deben ser solicitados durante los 30 días siguientes a la finalización del curso o cancelación, de lo contrario, el estudiante no tendría derecho a reembolso.
11.4. No se reembolsarán importes de cursos no disfrutadas por enfermedad, salida prematura, retraso en el día de llegada, etc.
11.1. The refund process will be given within 30 days.
11.2. For all refunds the school will charge an administrative fee of 10% of the amount to be refunded.
11.3. All refunds must be requested during the 30 days following the cancellation or the end of the course. Otherwise, the student will not have the right to get any refunds.
11.4. For courses missed due to illness, early departure or delayed arrival… There will not be any refund.
12.1 Los precios se aplican a un único trayecto y son por persona (aeropuerto-alojamiento; alojamiento-aeropuerto).
12.2. El estudiante deberá comunicar a la escuela la hora exacta y terminal de llegada de su vuelo al menos una semana antes de la fecha de llegada. Cualquier cambio deberá ser comunicado a la escuela. Para cuestiones de retrasos de vuelo, el estudiante deberá de contactar directamente al número de contacto que se le facilitará previamente.
12.3.El servicio de traslado esperará al estudiante como máximo 60 minutos después de la hora previsa. Si el estudiante no apareciera o no se pusiera en contacto con el responsable del traslado el servicio quedará anulado sin posibilidad de reembolso. No obstante, si el estudiante comunica el retraso cuando el responsable del traslado ya esté en el aeropuerto, éste puede aplicar cargos adicionales de espera en el aeropuerto.
12.1. The Price of the airport pick-up service is applied for one way (airport-accommodation; accommodation-airport). The Price is per person.
12.2. Student has to communicate flight number, departure place, arrival time and airport terminal at least 1 week before arrival. Any changes has to be communicated to the school. Any changes need to be communicate immediatly.
12.3. Arrival manager will be waiting at the airport a máximum of 60 minutes after expected arrival time. If student doesn’t show up or don’t contact to arrival manager the service would be cancelled with no possibility to any refund.
Nonetheless If the flight is delayed and the student contact with arrival manager after the pick-up time, the arrival manager may apply a supplement for waiting time.
Médico: Todos los ciudadanos procedentes de la Unión Europea tenen derecho a tarjeta sanitaria EHIC. Aconsejamos a estudiantes de otros países que contraten la póliza de seguro médico para tener total cobertura y seguridad médica. Disponible en Spaneasy Learning. Consulte al respecto.

Responsabilidad Civil: La escuela tiene contratado un seguro civil para casos de incidentes de causa menor ocurridos en la escuela. Spaneasy Learning no se responsabiliza de pérdida o robo de propiedades del estudiante.
Medical: All citizens of the EU can bring the European Health Insurance Card EHIC. We recommend that students from other countries take out a medical insurance policy (provided directly by our school) that guarantees coverage for the illnesses stipulated as the EHIC.
Travel: Provided by Spaneasy Learning. Consult for more information.
Civil Liability: The school has an accident and civil liability insurance policy that covers minor accidents that may occur at the school.
Spaneasy learning se reserva el derecho de uso de todos los posibles materiales gráficos y audiovisuales ya sea fotos/videos durante clases o actividades para el uso exclusivo de la escuela a menos que el estudiante manifieste lo contrario a su llegada.
Spaneasy Learning reserves the right to take photos/videos during classes or activities for the use of the school unless the student declares otherwise in writing (email) or the first day at the school.
15.1. Spaneasy Learning se reserva el derecho de cancelar la plaza del estudiante si el día de llegada el estudiante no ha pagado la totalidad del curso y/o alojamiento.
15.2. En caso de mal comportamiento de forma repetida o violencia a terceras personas, el estudiante será expulsado de la escuela y del alojamiento contratado con Spaneasy sin ningún derecho a reembolso.
15.3. Spaneasy Learning no asume responsabilidad alguna en los casos de fuerza mayor (de acuerdo con la ley).
15.1. Spaneasy Learning reserves the right to cancel the student’s programme if on the first day of arrival the balance of the course or accommodation is not full paid.
15.2. In case of bad behaviour or cases of violence disrespecting towards other students and employees, the student will be expelled from the school or accommodation contracted with Spaneasy Learning withouth the right to any refund.
15.3. Spaneasy learning accepts no responsibility for cases of forcé majeure (according to law)
16.1. Spaneasy no se hace responsable de los posibles accidentes ocurridos fuera de las instalaciones de la escuela: alojamientos, excursiones o tours.
16.1. Spanesasy Learning no se hace responsable de los robos o enfermedades (tanto dentro como fuera de las instalaciones de la escuela)
